The Otto engine turned 125 in 2001. It was founded by Nicolaus August Otto and even today it offers power drive with bursts of speed under the hoods of passenger vehicles.

Those who are declared dead live longer. This also applies to the Otto engine. It has continued to have a considerable economic effect worldwide despite a comparison to the higher fuel consumption of the diesel engine and despite its costly technology reduce its emissions of toxic substances.

It is with this same passion that Nicolaus August Otto and Gottfried Daimler approached their work that the technicians and engineers of Racimax Chiptuning Limited work on improved motor controls. In a technology alliance with the leasing companies world wide, today Racimax can look back on a successful company history.

Within the Racimax Group we can rely on a strong mix  of specialists and generalists with approximately 100 employees. Thus, we have also engine developers, process and quality managers in our ranks as well as designers and financial engineers. Everything just to present the optimal product to our customers.

The demands made on our development team have grown more and more over the years. New motor technologies, a plethora of electronic tools, EU emission standards, modified fuel mixtures and, last but not least, the government tax policy are influencing variables which have to be reconciled. That is why we must continuously keep in step with the development departments of AUDI, BMW, Bosch, Mercedes and VW (just to name a few). Here we are pioneers just like the manufacturers themselves but with an additional hurdle. Our products must be so extremely reliable that we even have to get rid of errors in the serial programming. Otherwise, manufacturer errors would unjustifiably be attributed to Racimax.

Every external observer can surely recognize quickly what enormous costs are behind serious and optimum ECO or CHIP tuning. Low-cost suppliers cannot give this assurance. These suppliers very frequently do some “patching” in the data records and without engine knowledge until the engine gets faster for some reason. Very risky when you think that the engine is the core of an automobile and high costs can result with a defect.
